Hello! Welcome to Patrick Burns online. I’m a composer, playwright, director, and actor.
I’ve performed off-Broadway, regionally and in national tours. My plays have been produced off-Broadway and regionally and my writing has been featured online in The Atlantic, The Chronicle for Social Change, and Stage Agent.
I’m passionate about prison reform, diversity & representation, foster care and socially-conscious, entertaining storytelling. I was recently awarded my second Lincoln City Fellowship from the Speranza foundation to develop my new musical The Storyteller, a poetry collection, and a memoir.
